Several offices of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP are celebrating Earth Month and Earth Day through participation in events around the world.

Earth Day was created in 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson to draw attention to ongoing issues with toxic air and waste. Twenty million Americans participated in the first Earth Day, eventually leading to the formation of the EPA and then the passing of the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.  Now celebrated in more than 190 countries, Earth Day remains one of the largest civic observances in the world.

Greenberg Traurig’s Environmental Practice remains committed to helping clients navigate the complex and evolving landscape of environmental, energy, and natural resources law. The firm congratulates all its attorneys and professionals whose dedication to these issues reflects its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
