Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received the most first-tier national rankings in the U.S. News – Best Lawyers 2023 “Best Law Firms” report for the 12th consecutive year and received the most national and metro rankings of any law firm included in the report. More than half of the firm’s Environmental Practice U.S. offices were ranked as “Best Law Firms.”
According to U.S. News – Best Lawyers, firms included in the 2023 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.” According to the publication, achieving a tiered ranking “signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.” U.S. News – Best Lawyers reported the highest lawyer and firm participation on record, incorporating 12.2 million evaluations of more than 116,000 individual leading lawyers from more than 22,000 U.S. law firms.
To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in the Best Lawyers in America guide, which recognizes the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the United States. Earlier in 2022, Greenberg Traurig was honored to have more than half of the U.S. lawyers in the firm’s Environmental Practice recognized in the 2023 edition. The annual edition recognized 41 environmental attorneys from 17 U.S. offices in 31 practice areas.
